Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
The Neurodiverse City Hub
At The Neurodiverse City Hub, we stand firmly against all forms of modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and exploitation. Our mission is rooted in inclusion, fairness, and community — and we are committed to ensuring that every aspect of our work reflects those values.
Our Organisation
The Neurodiverse City Hub is a not-for-profit community supporting neurodivergent individuals, families, and allies. Through resources, partnerships, and advocacy, we aim to create safe spaces and drive systemic change in health, education, and employment.
While our risk of encountering modern slavery is low due to the nature of our work, we are mindful of the need to remain vigilant and responsible in all areas of our operation.
Our Commitment
We will not knowingly work with any organisation that engages in or turns a blind eye to modern slavery or human trafficking. We take a proactive approach to ethical practice, and we expect the same from our partners, funders, sponsors, and suppliers.
We are committed to:
Conducting basic due diligence when engaging with new partners and suppliers
Encouraging transparency, especially where third-party services are involved
Promoting ethical standards within our networks and raising awareness of exploitation risks
Policies and Practices
As part of our wider commitment to human rights, we maintain practices that support a safe, fair, and inclusive environment for everyone connected to our work. These include:
Clear expectations around ethical collaboration
A safeguarding policy for vulnerable individuals
Internal channels for raising concerns or whistleblowing
Community education around fair treatment and inclusive support
Looking Forward
As The Neurodiverse City Hub grows, we will continue to review our approach and ensure that our actions align with our values. We are here to build a better, fairer future — and that includes protecting individuals from all forms of exploitation.
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will be reviewed annually.
